At Body IQ, Osteopathy is a form of ‘hands on’ healthcare for the whole family that recognises the important link between the brain, the structures of the body and the way it functions.

Body IQ Osteopaths look at how the skeletal system, joints, muscles, nerves, circulation, connective tissue and internal organs function as a holistic unit and are all controlled by the brain.

Using skilled evaluation, diagnosis and a wide range of hands-on techniques, Body IQ Osteopaths can identify different types of dysfunction in your body & help treat your symptoms.

In Australia, Osteopaths are Government registered practitioners who complete a minimum of five years university training in anatomy, physiology, pathology, general medical diagnosis and osteopathic techniques.

You do not require a referral to obtain an appointment.

Osteopathy is covered by most private health funds and by Medicare Chronic Disease Management (CDM) Plans. HICAPS and Eftpos is available at Body IQ. At its origin, osteopathy is a holistic practice and can be extremely effective in the realm of preventative medicine, general health and pain management.

Most importantly at Body IQ we recognise that each person and presentation is unique and this is reflected in each osteopathic consult being individually tailored to the patient. Osteopaths realise that within every person there are inherent self healing and self regulating mechanisms.  Osteopaths assist, accelerate and enhance this natural healing process.
